The missing hardware is common
Modern Macs do not include optical drives. An external drive must support Blu-ray reading and the Mac connection you plan to use.
Ultra HD needs a separate decision
Standard Blu-ray compatibility does not imply Ultra HD Blu-ray support. The current Macgo App Store listing explicitly says Ultra HD Blu-ray is not supported.
Verify before paying
Check the software’s current macOS support, Apple silicon notes, license terms, menu behavior, and refund policy. This research edition does not yet provide a hands-on disc success rate.
